Last Friday, Tulfa employees caught up over drinks during our first-ever Happy Hour. The virtual event, organized by Cindy and Jim, was a huge success, and it’s safe to say there will be more in the near future!
Like most businesses, the world’s current situation has forced Tulfa to explore online options to ensure proper communication with our employees. Despite some setbacks, our transition into a remote business model has yielded incredibly positive results. With the opening of our newest branch in Peru, long distance communication is more important than ever. Armed with expertise using software like Microsoft Teams and Zoom, working across five continents has never been easier.
We have supplied every Tulfa employee with the equipment they need to work from home, including work computers, webcams, hard drives, and Internet access. Now, after several months of working from home, we have mastered the art of remote work. Not only have we maintained our content output, but we have increased it in many sectors of our business.
It’s not all work and no play; Tulfa takes care to foster its culture. We know quality content is only produced when our employees are happy and healthy. Our recent Happy Hour is just one of our many team-building activities. We have found that it is surprisingly easy to socialize and have fun over the Internet–who would have thought?
While we may not know how long this pandemic will last, the world is rebuilding itself. Tulfa is no different. Our remote business model has not only allowed us to survive, but prosper. We are fortunate that technology has advanced as much as it has, giving us valuable communication resources that allow us to get the job done, no matter what. It’s safe to say that even when we’re apart, we remain together, stronger than ever.
